Lobby your MP, jump in on the last chance to sign our Change for Burma! petition and keep praying for North Korea as we lobby the EU to work for their freedom.

ParliamentThere’s still a chance to congratulate and influence your MP
To kick off the nation’s new term of office we still want you to welcome your MPs and highlight the religious freedom issues that they have the privilege of influencing globally.  Before parliament’s summer recess in late-July we would love every CSW supporter to have contacted their MP.  If you know you haven’t yet, now’s your chance!

Over the coming weeks and months CSW is launching a new lobbying drive so that you can influence the political process for the persecuted even more effectively.  Thousands of lobbying voices uniting across CSW’s supporter network translates into tangible benefits for persecuted believers.  We’re excited about getting religious freedom on the agenda of every MP in the UK – check Relay over coming weeks for further details.

North Korea

NORTH KOREA:  CSW advocates and prays
We’re sending a joint letter to EU foreign ministers this week asking for their active support on North Korea.  Among other requests, CSW’s letter calls on the EU to appoint an “EU Special Representative … to ensure persistent attention and coordination to help resolve North Korea’s human rights violations.”
>>> Strengthen these efforts by praying for North Korea.

CSW can speak at your church
“It has raised the profile of persecuted believers and of CSW in my church – issues that seem so far away were brought to life and people are now hungry for information.”  That’s how one church leader felt when CSW came to visit - call us now to  book a speaker.

Help our cyclist fundraisers!
On 25 and 26 July, five energetic CSW supporters are cycling across Shropshire to raise money for the persecuted!  And you too can undertake adventurous fundraising escapades…

Following last year’s CSW Three Peaks Challenge, Disni Jayasuriya, one of the cycling squad said, “it’s been a great adventure; training, organising events, pulling in support and having fun, but the best outcome so far has been bringing to mind on a daily basis those on the frontline for Jesus across the globe, which is really character-changing!”
