Organisations and activities

Jumping Jacks

As well as our regular Sunday worship there are many other activities at St Andrew’s. Leaders of all of these will welcome your interest: for further information call or email the Church Office or the contacts named below.

Bible study

  • We have several House Groups meeting during the week, and a bible study group that meets on Sunday mornings at 9:00am at the church. More details here or from Eric Kennedy.

Music

  • The Church Choir is currently in abeyance, but we are keen to hear from volunteers to get it going again. Contact Peter Campbell Smith.
  • We have a Worship Band which leads worship for part of the service each week, and at all-age and parade services. Instrumentalists and singers are always welcome. Contact Steffi Campbell Smith for further information.

For younger people

  • We have a thriving Junior Church with various groups for those aged 3 to 18 and a creche for the under-3s. Contact Steffi Campbell Smith.
  • Jumping Jacks meets on Friday mornings for 0-4 year-olds and their mothers or carers - see right. Contact Rosanne Young.

  • Scouts, Cub Scouts and Beavers and links to a local Explorers group. Contact Joe Clare.
  • Guides, Brownies and Rainbows. Various contacts -- call the church office for details.
  • Penkitout, the 11-14 year olds' house group meets on Tuesday evenings to look at different topics which affect young people today and how God is a part of all these things in their lives after games and activities earlier in the evening. Contact Jamie Bruce.

Fellowship

  • St Andrew’s Fellowship meets for lunch and speakers; details in the calendar. Contact Austine Young.
  • The Crew is a group who are (or were) forty-something that meets for fun and fellowship.

For the energetic

  • The Badminton Club has groups for all ages and standards.
  • St Andrew's Tennis Club has its own courts and pavilion.
  • Scottish Country Dancing for young and old.
